Giuliani made the comments to the New York Daily News hours after a judge revoked bail for Trump's former campaign chair Paul Manafort over alleged witness tampering, sending him to jail pending his trial in September.
When the whole thing is over, things might get cleaned up with some presidential pardons, Giuliani told the Daily News.

Giuliani said during an interview on The Hill's show "Rising" that Trump himself has not ruled out an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller's team, because "he wants to explain himself."
But Giuliani also said that "as his lawyer" he does not believe Trump should sit down with investigators ...

Going a step further than he has before, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday that its time to wrap up Special Counsel Robert Muellers probe, falling into lockstep with Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul Ryan, according to a Friday Washington Examiner report.
What I think about the Mueller investigation is, they ought to wrap it up, he said on a Washington Examiner podcast. Its gone on seemingly forever, and I dont know how much more they think they can find out ...

(6,907 posts)this should be obstruction with justice right here. The pressure goes up on Manafort, meaning the pressure is also up on Cohen. "Look, Cohen, if Manafort gives us the information we need, we really won't need a deal with you." So then Giuliani puts out in the press that there is a pardon in the offing. This kind of bullshit is what has been going on all along.
