The Con genuinely believes being a TV President (all he wants to be) is all made up in his bubble of lunacy. So lying to the media is part of the TV show - he's acting not making a statement to the American people via the media. Reality has long left this vile cretin.

More dangerous bc it's like CO2. poisonous and you can't readily discern it (we can...they can't). And a much uglier psychosis. Ron was senile, but, at least he wasn't making all the decisions..necessarily. And he wasn't ticking off our allies.
