Willie Nelson, an outspoken critic of President Trump, is slamming the administration's zero-tolerance policy separating families at the U.S.-Mexico border, saying "Christians everywhere should be outraged."

Nelson, who grew up just five hours from the Mexican border, has aimed harsh criticism at Trump. In January, he announced his new album would feature a Trump-inspired song titled, Delete and Fast-Forward."
Nelson also has previously advocated for pro-immigration policies. He told Rolling Stone in 2014 that helping immigrant children is "a good opportunity for us to show a little bit of humanitarianism and take care of those kids."

(15,286 posts)The dump and his corrupt family is just a manifestation of the rot in our society.
Let's see some big name entertainers protesting against the money-bags that are supporting dump, fux, t-potties, rw thugs. How about somebody calling out the multi-national corps and govts that fund the hijacking of societies?
Maybe too broad a brush since almost every country has a class that is taking advantage of the people.

(3,569 posts)Nobody lays it out like Willie. Outspoken. Brings so much happiness to the people via his music. His fight for pot legalization commendable.
I was selling photos outside a Willie show in San Jose. 81 maybe. He was IT then. No bigger act than Willie. It was after the show and I hear a voice commending the photos. Jerry, Jimi, Zepplin, Willie, the usual. "Those are nice shots". I turn around and its Willie. By himself. The usual routine after that is a card with an attorneys name on it and confiscation of the photos. But no, he bought a few and insisted on paying full price.
