It's Not Trump - It's Rupert Murdoch Who Engineered This Nightmare With Some AM Radio Station Owners

Without Murdoch, and Ailes, there would be no Trump. There needed to be millions of brainwashed scared to death half nazis ready to be manipulated for Trump to emerge. The more cruel he is, the more they support him. The more lies he tells the more they support him. Why? Because of Fox News. They validate his lies, and tell their lemmings Trump's lies are actually true, and look over there, scary black person, car chase, immigrant invasion etc.

This nightmare is 95% the fault of Rupert Murdoch.

Murdoch should be treated like he deserves.

Bastard.

'Treating murdoch' however will not solve the problems he's caused; we have to figure that part out.

Rush Hudson Limbaugh gets "credit" here. His diatribes predate Fox Noise by a long shot.

Though Murdoch certainly should sell off the entirety of his Fox Entertainment business. Then Comcast or Disney can go right ahead and dismantle Fox Noise.

It certainly says a lot about Murdoch that he is prepared to sell off most of 20th/21st Century Fox but not "Fox News".

Murdoch owned the NY Post in the early 80s before Limbaugh.

Jack Kemp said Murdoch used every page of the NY Post to get Reagan re-elected.

As for GOP propaganda vs msm, there are three kinds of media today in America:
1. GOP propaganda media
2. Profit-first infotainment
3. Truth-seeking journalism

1 and 2 are responsible for Trump, but for different reasons.

No wonder so many Repugs see everything upside-down.

I share your spite for Murdoch, but he's just one piece in a giant puzzle of a vast right-wing propaganda and deconstruction machine. Heritage Foundation, ALEC, Adelson and our mostly sheepish MSM are just as guilty. Murdoch just happens to own the largest, loudest right-wing bullhorn, while the others do their destruction in the shadows.

If someone 40 or 50 years ago had told me our freedom of speech enshrined in the Constitution could ultimately lead to America's downfall, I would have voted to have that person committed. These days, I'm not so sure.

Fox, NY Post, WSJ Ed page: Murdoch
Cato, Heritage, Reason: Koches
Breitbart, Cambridge Analytica: Mercers
Was Examiner, Federalist, IJR, Newsmax: other GOP billionaires

Common thread, as Piketty warns us— billionaires trying to screw average Americans to cut their own taxes.

Resentment of our progressive taxation system was always at the root of GOP policy as long as I can remember, back into the early 60s.

However, I believe there's a more sinister element at play: when most people become very wealthy, after a period of time the fear of losing it sets in. But the worst effect is that these people start to believe they are entitled to political power because of their wealth, and thereafter use part of their wealth to gain that control.

And, tied to that belief is the thinking that the teaming masses of everyday folks must be controlled by whatever means necessary - including lying, deceiving, and starving us to death if necessary.

I think recorded history has shown those propositions to be correct many times over......

real power is always adjacent to where it seems to be. It's not Hannity or Fox, but Murdoch.

I've been saying this to people for months, and it amazes me how the US media NEVER lays the blame at his feet.

He is an evil son of a bitch and needs to have his US citizenship revoked.
