Anthony Scaramucci Rips 'Atrocious' Border Separation Policy: 'We All Know' Trump Can Change It

by Aidan McLaughlin | 8:22 am, June 18th, 2018

Anthony Scaramucci appeared on CNN Monday morning and gave a candid interview in which he bashed the Trump administration policy of separating child migrants from their families at the U.S. southern border.

-snip-

“Aside from which it’s inhumane and its cruel, I think he needs to step back, stop listening his aides and his advisers,” Scaramucci said, likely referring to White House immigration hardliners Stephen Miller and John Kelly.

“He’s got to step in there and end this thing because I think it’s an atrocious policy, it’s inhumane, it’s offensive to the average American,” Scaramucci continued. “It does not represent American values.”

Scaramucci went on to argue that the optics of the policy aren’t good for Republican chances in the 2018 midterm elections. “The immediate remedial need is to change this right now,” he said.

“And the president can do that single handedly,” CNN’s Alisyn Camerota noted.

“We all know the president can do that, he has the executive power to do that,” Scaramucci conceded. “So let’s knock it off, because it’s very very bad for the Republican party, and it’s very bad for the president,” he added.

I think he was still hoping to get back into Trump's good graces after Bannon's exit, but the hardliners Kelly, Bolton and Miller in the Bannon wing have ascended.

But fuck this phony.

Stating that which is obvious doesn't make you a hero. It makes you conscious.

he's trying to establish some sort of "credibility" and move away from that clownish figure who inhabited Hair Furor's surreal universe. He's still a minion with a boogie board trying to surf in a tsunami.
