Anthony Scaramucci appeared on CNN Monday morning and gave a candid interview in which he bashed the Trump administration policy of separating child migrants from their families at the U.S. southern border.

Aside from which its inhumane and its cruel, I think he needs to step back, stop listening his aides and his advisers, Scaramucci said, likely referring to White House immigration hardliners Stephen Miller and John Kelly.
Hes got to step in there and end this thing because I think its an atrocious policy, its inhumane, its offensive to the average American, Scaramucci continued. It does not represent American values.
Scaramucci went on to argue that the optics of the policy arent good for Republican chances in the 2018 midterm elections. The immediate remedial need is to change this right now, he said.
And the president can do that single handedly, CNNs Alisyn Camerota noted.
We all know the president can do that, he has the executive power to do that, Scaramucci conceded. So lets knock it off, because its very very bad for the Republican party, and its very bad for the president, he added.
