People seeking asylum at ports of entry are being told that they cannot process their asylum claims there. The people then do the only thing left to them - try to enter the US between ports of entry. By doing this they have broken the law so the heinous policy of ripping children from their parents (We will only separate if the adult has broken a law) kicks in and children and parents are forcibly separated.
