Office. The official stance is that she is against the actions at the border and is willing to work to keep families together.
Of course this could be a whole lot of double talk but I remember a week or so ago her releasing a statement about being upset that Trump was negotiating with North Korea. She's pretty darn conservative but if even one of the most conservative in the House is upset there might be something done.
Of course I will not get my hopes up.

(82,849 posts)When you call her office again, remind the receptionist that you were told previously that Rep. Hartzler is against this zero tolerance policy. Build on that, and ask what she concrete steps she has taken to end this. The "I'm against it" answer is nice; but her constituents want to see some deeds that support the words.
I do this all the time.
This is strong language for her office. Normally she's extremely wishy washy.
I call almost every day. I'll be doing follow ups.
