Dianne Feinstein on Chris Hayes.

A month ago, we were criticized even here on du when making comparisons with nazi Germany. No, this can't happen here, let's not go for hyperbole, etc...

Well we are there now. For a mainstream senator to say that on national tv, you better believe we are there.

Maybe this is what finally did it.

I want to see Democrats shut everything down. Go to the detention facilities. March. Obfuscate. CAMPAIGN for other Dems and ask voters to help them fight against these fascist policies.

Continue to call a spade a spade.

I am in Virginia. That detention facility is just a few miles from the Jamestown settlement.
Can you imagine ??? The place where settlers came fleeing religious persecution. Now, we are jailing kids within a stone throw from it.

to compare Trump to Hitler and his policies to those of Nazi Germany. Senator Feinstein was right on and I hope others say the same thing - because it's true.

Most of them seem to be local jails so those probably aren't where they are sending children. It's a place to start, though.

Hate to be the grammar / spelling Nazi (cough), but this one happens to be important, IMO.

Or plenty violations of Godwins Law depending on your point of view

Hearing it on talk radio, Thom Hartmann in serious discussion among others. The excellent blogger Jim Wright of Stonekettle Station. Plenty of DU posts, plenty on FB

If I could refer you to an excellent article in the 4/30/18 New Yorker,
