When Democrats oppose it, the narrative will be that Democrats don't really care about putting an end to family separation. Republicans and the media will push that narrative hard.

Dem support? Don't they have the majority in the Senate as well? Seems to me that the only way that they would need Dem support is if they don't have enough Repugs to vote for this. Am I wrong?

that screws over these families - like, giving them 2 weeks to get all their papers together, which is nigh impossible if you're fleeing your country as a refugee and walked for weeks to get to the border.
