I hesitate to give Ivanka any credit, but if she were going to use any cajolery to turn ths particular shitboat around, this tweet is exactly how it would play out. The unspoken Trump family contract is that the offspring spin Daddy's fuck-ups positively, and for all we know they do actually have a little influence over him. If she helped him come to a better decision, she would be sure to shower him with praise afterward.

I'm not an Ivanka apologist so much as I am trying to make the point that the family have so little influence, it would be impossible to confirm. Not even sure this is a point worth making.
