A reminder...Trump lost, and lost badly today. This was a PR, political, legal, and moral disaster and it's unspeakably awful for him.

Also, Manafort is still in jail, Michael Cohen is ready to squeal, and the dumb spin on the IG report got overtaken by events.

businesses (like the airlines who refused to fly immigrant kids), and millionaires (Steyer and Bloomberg, etc.), and politicians (yes, even the GOP), local news stations, protesters, etc to support impeachment as they did family separations.

& Mueller has quietly given the nod that his work is there to back them up, the applause from the US & around the world will be heard forever in the history books .

A Lot of people have set themselves up to helplessly watch as their future ends.

It will happen & it will finally be over.

Of course it is awful for him. He went from "I alone can fix it" to "It's not up to me" to "Ok here is an executive order" within a matter of days. It shows how clueless the man is, how ignorant he is of the workings of government and his shameful atrocities in this whole crisis.

Trump still hasn't got anything he wanted from 2016 in legislative terms. No Wall, no immigration reform, no infrastructure bill, no repeal and replace. It's a credit to the dems and grassroots movement for holding fort. It's not been easy and not perfect - Trump's cushiness with Netanyahu is aided by Schumer's cheerleading of Israel, but on the whole the tide is turning. His minority base are fools. Ignorant selfish slobs who will not change their ways. But their stupidity is seen through years of claiming the democrats are non-existent on immigration, to likening their immigration policy falsely to the democrats as if it validates them. It goes over their heads you can't have it both ways.

If the dems switch the house even if he does not get impeached immediately which will be a shock, he is effectively a lame duck until impeachment begins. Then Mueller may drop the bombshell.

but i believe that justice will prevail. once the dots are connected he is done. the focus for dems should be solely on november and that's the first step of rebuilding our democratic principles, then mueller can come in. the gop won't have a leg to stand as they are complicit and if there's a civil war in that nasty party, i'm going to enjoy it.

i believe history books will have a field day of donald trump's presidency but i also believe his presidency will go down in history as shorter than the benign and forgettable gerald ford

Problem is that there will still be over 2,300 kids languishing in these Trump camps because the administration has no plans to reunite them with their parents in the near future.

So it is still a humanitarian crisis, and Trump, along with his whole misbegotten, sociopathic administration are still perpetrating crimes against humanity.

Let's have a TOTAL repudiation of the GOP at the polls in November. If the person has a D in front of their name, vote for them. Let's eject as many of these knuckle-draggers from government at all levels as we can.

Only then can we worry about debating one another on policy. First the resounding defeat of the Rs, THEN we can bicker.

It was a tremendous success if tRump manages to gut SS, Medicare and Medicaid under the guise of balancing the budget. This drama is providing a cover for something, and it could be big.
