When he still had a show, Phil Donohue was required by CNN to have two conservative guests for every liberal one.

There was an intolerable topic-shifting Republican from North Carolina on his show tonight. I was infuriated, as were others, based on multiple threads.

We really needed a stronger host in the early going of that disgrace.
