Gunman's tattoos lead officials to deem Sikh shooting terrorism

http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-sikh-temple-domestic-terrorism-20120805,0,6094643.story

Tattoos on the body of the slain Sikh temple gunman and certain biographical details led the FBI to treat the attack at a Milwaukee-area temple as an act of domestic terrorism, officials said Sunday.

The shootings in Oak Creek, Wis., left seven dead, including the gunman, and three critically wounded. One of the injured was a police officer who was expected to survive.

A federal official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media refused to say whether the gunman was thought to belong to a hate group or some other violent group because the investigation was still unfolding.

Posters who visited Storm Front (me? Not on a dare) say they fear it's one of them.

Betcha swastika tattoos were found.

I volunteered for SPLC for a while and still have an account there. Yes - there is an undercurrent there that this was "one of them" and will "hurt the cause" of WN.

I can't tell you how wonderful I think it is that you volunteered for the SPLC -- one of the greatest organizations ever.

They are covering their ass the same way they did with JT Ready and Richard Poplawski - both members.

I captured Ready's last post made just 2 hours before he killed his family and screen shotted it. Within an hour, it was poofed.

SPLC is a fantastic organization. You have to wade through a LOT of hate, but it really is worth it to expose these nazis.

Yup, not just storm front. There are other three groups that immediately pop up in my mind. Another is a white identity church.

(Back in the day did a lot of research into all that...have kept my feet in that...would all but shock me incidentally)

Many will give "keep the powder dry" and other comments which would indicate the willingness to perform "suicide" actions. Just as Zimmerman and others has overshot the stand your ground thinking it gives the right to go out and kill at will.
