Just like was done to S. Sanders and the Kirstjen Neilson, ask that he be removed from any restaurants he may be dining in. Or make noise and harass the bastard for being a racist and using his racism on the Supreme Court. And for using dirty tricks to get an appointment to the Supreme Court.
Humiliate the freaking bastard. Shame him for his actions.
Actually you can do it to all the ones who voted for the Muslim ban. They are all ugly racists and that makes them un-American and they shouldn't be making decisions for America if they are un-American.
Fuck them!

(60,010 posts)The Highest Court in the Land is pretty venerable, and theoretically above politics. I still have respect for it as an institution ( so far),
despite a few clowns infesting it from time to time.
Having said that, I know you can't make good law out of morally wrong decisions, at least not ones that will stand the test of time.
Not crazy about the idea of us going over that line, because our opponents don't need any more ideas about incivility.

(22,495 posts)else. It does nothing to protect our country and they know it. It is nothing but a racist decision done to hurt a group of people and tear us apart as a country.
I lost all respect for these justices after this ruling. I don't understand why they deserve anything at this point.
That is how I see it. I wonder how these justices would behave if they would have to face the consequence of their decisions instead of just being held safely in the quietude of their court.

(42,758 posts)Whether or not it's a good or bad thing, from a practical political perspective, to harass members of the Trump administration, harassing SCOTUS justices is not a good idea. There have been strong feelings about SCOTUS justices in the past, particularly from the right wing. But they didn't employ such tactics and I don't think it will serve any purpose other than to be a distraction going into the final months of the election. Our candidates will be asked over and over whether they think its a good thing and they're going to answer that it is not, you can bet a million bucks on it.

(13,262 posts)he is the heroic defender of the real America against the barbarian hordes. Harrassing them is a waste of time. Much better to spend time thinking of powerful ways to expose the reasons why their actions are evil.

(22,495 posts)left. And she was the one who blatantly lied to the American people just days before.
If Gorsuch is with his wife and/or family and is shamed I bet he will take a serious look at what the hell he is doing as a judge.
The reasons why his actions are evil is he is a racist.

(22,495 posts)parents after Kirston Neilson was forced out of that Mexican restaurant?
And let's see how SHS treats the press corps now that she was asked to leave her restaurant because of how disrespectful she has been toward the press corps.
Let's see if it makes a difference. I say that because I think it does make a difference.

(22,495 posts)You really are upset that Sarah Sanders was asked to leave the Red Hen? Or the Kirsten Neilsen was forced out of that Mexican restaurant? Do you really wish everyone had been polite and not upset these women?
What about Stephen Miller? Do you wish activists wouldn't have gathered around his home and called him names, (can't remember what they said)?
Maybe you want to talk to England and ask them to not fly the great big baby Trump balloon they are planning to fly when he goes over there because.....that is meant to shame baby Trump.
I really feel like people are talking out of both sides of their mouths here.

(46,166 posts)They stole a few sates and won via the Electoral College. Now we're f'd as a nation.
Humiliation is something human beings have a hard time with. Trump is always hungry for good publicity. He's always worried about how his policies make him appear. Humiliating him and his puppets will always have an effect regardless of his lack of conscience.
Targeting him and puppets like McConnell is one way to chip away at the armor. Imo, one reason Paul Ryan is quitting the House is that he doesn't want the humiliation of defeat. Humiliation is more powerful than you think.
