Trump vs Harley Davidson - My take from a biker dude

For some reason, most of my biker buddies seem to be Trumpsters. Or more accurately, the one biker that I know and what he can tell me about the others.

Well, my one friend is pissed at Trump for "dissing" Harley Davidson. I don't think he is quite off the band wagon but I never heard him say a bad word about Trump before. I can tell that he is confused that Trump would attack the sacred company and cant quite figure what is up yet. So I will just let the last week simmer for a while and then see where he stands.

When Trump disturbs sacred ground, even his most faithful will abandon him.

First of all,it was a 8k filing by Harley in order to tell Wall Street they were making Business decision on relocating Manufacturing to a offshore location to avoid loosing Profits caused by a Tariff placed on their Raw Materials as well as their finished Product.

So much for those free trading Rethugs, must be their new Economic Theory.

If it looks like they are comingto a certain realization let it happen.

Don't brag or gloat.

Just say things like "yeah, i saw that too"

Although the ones I'm thinking of are into environment and other sports like surfing , hiking etc.

They probably don't see themselves as being a bigger like the racists you are thinking of.

It's more about being outdoors and love of nature.

racist to boot. Look up the demographics.

Besides, anyone who pulls up next to you with straight pipes, blipping the throttle - when your windows are down to enjoy the weather - is a bit of an A-hole, don’t you think.

And they tend to prefer riding in more open areas outside the cities.

It's about exploring nature.

This includes many women also.

But these people are already liberal and hate trump.

Libertarians currently think their ideology is being validated by the existence of trump—they Blame Democrats and Republicans and not themselves.

Toss in a little seasoning, and remind him of the glowing remarks Trump made about Harley-Davidson before the company crossed him by making a business decision forced on it by Trump's trade war. Estimated cost increase for a new motorcycle: $2,200. Think of it as the Trump Tax.

A true believer would rather die than change their beliefs. And these guys (and girls) quite literally believe Donnie Two Scoops is the Savior:

I think we're watching the birth of the Fourth Reich.

SCOTUS demonstrated today that the courts are no longer the last bastion against executive and legislative excess. There are five men on the bench who are just as much ideologues as Donnie Two Scoops and all his followers.

Our last chance is the ballot box.

For some reason I seem to automatically connect with two groups of strangers - bikers and surfers. I have no idea why. I do neither but I can't count the number of individuals and instances in the workplace as well as just social settings where I hit it off with them.

I've seen some folks who are slowly recovering tRumpanzees who've seen the light so to speak. Now KNOW that they voted for a mentally ill, racist POS. However, there are OTHER tRumpanzees IE: CULT 45'ers who have an "AS LONG AS." Mentality.

A friend has relatives ( in Ohio who are NOW feeling the wrath of a bad tRumputin economy. She hasn't spoken to her relatives since 2016's General Election (Something about her being married to a successful black male so they had it out in July 2016), but her sister still speaks to her relatives. Her sister is a spy so to speak, and she reports back to my friend--tells her what they've said, and tells her how they're doing. Anyway, these fools HAD nice cars, HAD nice jobs . But they still locked and loaded.

My friend told me that her sister told her that all 3 families have lost their way of lives due to ......

HEALTH CARE COSTS. Yep, they all in one way or another got bitten in their rusty, racist asses by their Führer's tRumpcare

Two of the families have had to move in together, and the other family is WAY behind in their mortgage payments. But to a person, my friends sister said that they're all the type to think that okay, even though WE suck, as long as Ni@@ers and wetbacks are down in the gutter with us, it's all GOOD. They're all really mean, bitter, evil, racist, nasty, rotten, vile human sacks of shit. But, there are more CULT 45'ers out there losing their bacon who think like them, and have the mentality: "AS LONG AS" we're in the gutter and they are TOO, it's all GOOD."

St. Jude, have mercy

valuable part of their brand (being american-made), that is certainly up to them, but they will definitely lose american customers over it.
