What I would like to see is how the Democratic party plans to GOTV and how they plan to combat vote tampering . Be it throwing folks off the rolls, corrupted machines and how the votes are securely counted etc.. This is war my friends and we will need every vote we can muster if this shitshow is to be stopped. What is the plan ?

Check your area and find out who is organizing GOTV. If no one is, talk to the supervisor of elections and find out what you have to do to start one.

4. A modest proposal

I am inexperienced with activism and politicking. I came to DU because I found it as a place where like-minded people could vent and share information. However, the time to vent and sit back, reading everyone else's complaints is over. As NanceGregg so eloquently stated: THIS IS WAR!!

Can we turn DU into a War Room of sorts? Or is there another place I should go? I am joining my local Indivisible group but I'm open to any and all ideas. We have to move past the point of talking and posting and take action to get the vote out and protect our elections.!!

a far better place for actual ACTIVISM than DU. I have problems even getting people to send faxes. Shrug.

I love DU, and it's my Go To place for news and analysis and commiseration, but -- activism, not so much.
