(1,461 posts)BY FAR, LB Marcelo went off injured. Zero clue why they dont play Marquinhos at centre back, he is top 6, maybe top 4 in world, yet they go with old and slow Miranda and Thiago Silva. Germany did same thing by force-playing a massively sub-par Boateng and they are going home.
I am atm in Sweden so it was pretty crazy here, especially after we choked v Germany on last kick of game. It got all racialised too, with mad race hate directed at Jimmy Durmaz after he made the stupid foul that gave Kroos the winning free kick.

(15,543 posts)Despite getting their culos kicked by Sweeden (3-0), Mexico is jubilant and will advance to the Group of 16 thanks to South Korea ecstatically beating defending-champion Germany (2-0).
Dirty Donny, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief and fear-besotted Wall-Building Moral Midget, will likely be pissed. As usual.
