On MSNBC on Wednesday, former democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders defended White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on the currently dominant political topic of civility in politics.
Look, as Ive said before, yeah, I think people have the right to go into a restaurant and have dinner, said Sanders (Bernie) about Saunders (Sarah) being kicked out of a restaurant with her family over political differences.
Host Kristen Welker was asking the Vermont senator about the lack of civility in general at first, and he said hes not a great fan of shouting down people or being rude to people, but that people have a right to be angry.

(39,405 posts)Bernie is not popular because of his personal style or tactics.
He says and fights for mostly what most Democrats want their elected officials to do.

(51,787 posts)And some use it as an opportunity for a broad brush attack on Democrats, lying that Democrats "looked the other way." In essence, they blame the Democrats. This is why we lose. Too many progressives misplace their anger onto Democrats instead of Republicans. Putin must be delighted.

(10,146 posts)I read somewhere recently that both Trump and McConnell have been pressuring Kennedy to quit so they could replace him before any Mueller indictments of Trump or those closest to him see the light of day. I wonder if Trump was threatening his son in some way to get Kennedy to favor Trump cases like the Muslin ban and to force him to quit. Trump likes to have dirt on people, and Im sure Russia has a lot of dirt on people at Deutsche Bank, the bank facilitating a lot of their money laundering. Curious minds would like to know!

(60,010 posts)The other son bailed Kushner out from that 666 Building disaster. So both sons are involved with Trump, Justice Kennedy may have been an witting pawn who was given on offer he can't refuse.
We are seeing the trump and Kushner adult children all clumping together to duplicate what their fathers did, except these fathers happen to be mob men.
It's all getting very Shakespearean. .

(13,527 posts)....Jerry Rotonda is a former Deutsche Bank executive who served as CFO for the companys wealth management division.
Though it is unclear whether Rotonda had any direct involvement in business deals with Trump, Deutsche Bank has backed Trump development projects. Deutsche Bank lent the Trump Organization more than $300 million for real estate transactions before Trump became president, ABC News has previously reported. The bank helped finance a number of Trumps high-profile developments, including the renovation of the Old Post Office in Washington, the purchase of the Doral golf course in Florida and the construction of an office building in Chicago....

(15,751 posts)The thread original source appears to be the respected, international Financial Times company. The Guardian, US news networks, mags, etc. on this connection
Have not noticed any US news nets mentioning it yet.
Most importantly, Mueller has been on deutsche trump since last year. Deutsche Bank is in it deep, has paid huge fines, invesigations on many fronts ongoing.
Fortunately, trump has sued Deutsche, and that has revealed some things.
Justin Kennedy's, or Justice Kennedy's phone tapped, etc.? By US allies, hostile to trump? Seems that has happened before. Plus trump on his open cell phone. . .
Can the plot 'thicken much more?'
Time for a gin an tonic here and sleep.

Trump didn't just get up one morning and happen. Given how many times he went broke, lied on his income sources and failed all the while showing signs of mental distress; someone or something gave him a pass. They let it happen in spite of committing treason with agents who were considered America's mortal enemy.
The only thing I know for sure is not to believe a word that comes out of Trump's mouth or trust anyone or anything associated with him.
