(14,173 posts)And maybe even give Twitter some competition. I don't know who owns the Twitter alternatives out there like Gab, Mastodon, Minds, Diaspora, or even Tumblr.
Trump would just pick the one who's owner is the most Trump friendly, and announce that Twitter is dead and all of his followers should now switch to ______. The MSM would be forced to still quote his "gabs", or whatever they would be now.
Twitter would survive I'd imagine. But it would take a big hit.

As we move into the midterms, anytime Trump tweets something outrageous, GOP candidates can be asked if they agree. There's no way they can answer that doesn't cost them votes with one bloc or another.
