Does Donald Trump have a criminal mind??

Last edited Sat Jun 30, 2018, 07:30 PM - Edit history (1)

Was it his environment or his heredity? Was it "like father, like son" or was it the people that he associated with? Or was it both?

He seems to have an innate obsession with making money and being wealthy. It makes him feel superior.

In his obsession with ego and wealth, it appears he may have wandered into activities that were not legal? He may have made connections to Russian oligarchs, out of necessity, once he had worn out his credit in this country? Thru those oligarchs, he would have met Vladimir Putin. Because all of the oligarchs work with Vladimir Putin if they want to work at all.

He likely met Paul Manafort thru the same connections? He learned that there were millions and millions to be made by laundering Russian money thru real estate transactions. He knew just the person to handle those "deals". Himself.

Deeper and deeper he got into the oligarch business. They expanded their businesses to golf courses and expensive apartment complexes. It is a thriving business and America is fertile ground.

But all the money, from all the oligarchs, could be shut off with the snap of a finger. By Vladimir Putin. Nobody does business in or out of Russia without his approval.

However, Donald Trump was rumored to be associated with the NY mafia figures even before he joined hands with the Russians and Putin. He may have been involved with some Russians when his casino went under? People wondered how he could lose so much money in a casino??

So, is Donald Trump a criminal? Or is he the second coming of Christ, as many of his followers seem to think? Who knew that Jesus would return with the characteristics of a criminal mind?

The question we are left with: Was the FBI investigating Donald Trump before he decided to run for the Presidency??

The guy has always been a con man grifter and most probably a tax cheat and money launderer. The fact that this country really doesn't prosecute white collar crime the way it should is the only reason he wasn't in jail when he announced his run.

2. He is a criminal and I honestly think he was born evil.

His upbringing accounts for a large part of his personality, but there is something fundamentally wrong with him. When he was a child he would throw rocks into the playpen of a toddler next door. There are many stories of his sadism, but I think he was born without compassion or empathy. His own mother believed she had spawned a monster.

He has been a criminal since he was old enough to commit crimes. I am amazed he has gotten away with it for this long. His followers are complete fucking idiots and totally immoral. Their opinions of him are worthless. If he was not wealthy, he would be dead by now and the world would be much better off for it.

...they don't act like him. At least not so extravagantly and openly.

Other people have grown up in similar situations and not acted like him.

He's an insecure vile pig whose utter narcissism and lack of conscience made him a good salesman ... he brought in cash for his boss, which was him.

criminal mind? Odds that Trump knew Gotti are very high. trump carefully 'coifs' and tailors like Gotti. Has a similar 'respect' and perspective on law and order as Gotti. Swears like Gotti. Ambitious like Gotti. Arrogant like Gotti. Needs to go 'public' out of all proportion, like Gotti. Has a gangster mind like Gotti.

Gotti a more decent guy though.

7. Should have mentioned

Gotti was head of the strongest of the mafia families, with operations from NY and the eastern seaboard to California. In addition to money laundering, fraud, prostitution, etc. he was especially strong in - construction [suppliers, permits, labor, politics, etc.]. Gotti was 'the boss' when the very, very ambitious trump in his 40's was tremendously , ridiculously needy for money, permits, political help, publicity and status. Seems like trump certainly knew of gotti, very likely had to deal with gotti at some level, had access to some of the social circles gotti had, may well have met with Gotti.

Gotti had more of those things that trump could only envy. And, Gotti had more power and more physical power. He could not only stop trump just about anywhere, but abduct, maim or kill any trump he wanted.

Gotti was better known, better respected in many ways - and was much more successful.

This could come out. Mueller investigated and convicted Gotti. Mueller would certainly be aware of trump in the Gotti era, and could well be curious.

Colorful stuff. Some of this could well come out.

Similiarly, El Chapo, had only a 2nd grade education, and could not read or write - and much more of a self-made man than trump.

10. Affluenza: he's just a rich boy who never had to answer to anybody
Sat Jun 30, 2018, 09:11 PM

He always did whatever he wanted without consequence and never developed essential character components, such as the ability to imagine he might be wrong or the ability to see things from another person's perspective

In terms of Kohlberg's stages of moral reasoning he's stuck at Level I

Level I: Preconventional Morality
Seen in preschool children, most elementary school students, some junior high school students, and a few high school students
Stage 1: Punishment-avoidance and obedience
People make decisions based on what is best for themselves, without regard for others' needs or feelings. They obey rules only if established by more powerful individuals; they may disobey if they aren't likely to get caught. "Wrong" behaviors are those that will be punished.
Stage 2: Exchange of favors
People recognize that others also have needs. They may try to satisfy others' needs if their own needs are also met ("you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" ). They continue to define right and wrong primarily in terms of consequences to themselves ...
