Any Reason To Believe That Justice Kennedy Was Approached By Mueller.....

so Mueller could get to the bottom of the personal relationships the Trump's have with Kennedy and his family?

Could that be a reason why Kennedy is retiring from SCOTUS?

2. No.

There has been speculation for years now that Kennedy was going to retire. He is now 81. He always wanted to retire when there was a R president with a R Senate. There is a chance the Senate may change in January so he retired now. Not everything in life is a conspiracy....

3. He had hired his clerks for next term

which is a strong indication he was not thinking about political winds.

I think this is about Trump/Douche bank/Kennedy children.

7. Every Justice hires clerks for the next term when they retire.

They have to. The hiring process for SC clerks starts at least a year in advance. If a retiring Justice didn't hire clerks the new Justice would have to scrabble at the last minute. Not the way it is ever done.

4. It's also entirely possible both views are correct

It's entirely possible he's retiring for partisan reasons (which arguably is corrupt, though not illegal and in any event increasingly common).

It's also entirely possible that the family ties are thoroughly corrupt as well and that he and/or his son has spoken with mueller.

5. Then again, Trump sure keeps doing suspicious things-

Like making sure that Kennedy recognized the Trump/Kushner connection with his son.

I think Trump is just so corrupt, and the people he does business with so venal, that almost everything he's involved with, from his awful product launches to his marriages, are indubitably tainted.

So yeah, really, if he can figure out how to benefit materially from appointing judges, he will. I bet he'll soon be actually selling judgeships and pardons too.

Kennedy might be just retiring, but he probably should address the issue of his son's connection to the Kushners.

6. I *wish* the Deutsche bank investigation included KENNEDY-son/SHITLER, but the resignation is *bad*

unintended? consequence. Besides, KENNEDY looks perfectly comfortable fraternizing with the SHITLER mob - inviting Ivanka to a SCotUS hearing, the KENNEDY spawn at regime events, with news going back a year about the DEUTSCHE Kennedy kid being tight with SHITLER's finances through Deutsche for over *twelve* years. It just could be that KENNEDY is 81.

10. Did Mueller's subpoena of Deutche Bank records

in December show Mueller a direct line between Kennedy's son at DB and Russian Oligarch money?

Did Mueller have to bring in Kennedy's son for questioning?

12. I always find it suspicious

when an 81-year old takes early retirement.
