Haberman has a theory regarding why Trump was more of a dick than usual in Montana.

Maggie Haberman

@maggieNYT

Trump’s presentation at the MT rally was steeped in grievance. People close to him believe he was angry about having to fire Pruitt and lashed out publicly at almost everyone else (except Putin) in his remarks.

But I just think he feels "empowered" at those frigging rallies. That's it. No "cause" for the behavior.

4 people seriously wounded by Russian Novichok(?) and he runs like a scared child to the palaces of the English Hinterlands. He has blood on his hands all over the world.
Why hasn't he sent help to Thailand? Must be the countries leader isn't a street murdering thug like Duterte, and Putin and Kim.

Because pruitt had a deep pockets donor who put lots of money into campaign funds for the GOP and pruitt and trump I suspect, and by firing him he may lose that now. That was probably why pruitt lasted so long after all the corruption , not because of trump , but his donor behind pruitt.

That needs to be investigated along with his other misdeeds. It's surely the reason why Cheeto was so "attached" to Pruitt, since he never even met the man before his 2015-16 presidential campaign.

We can probably assume that anybody that Cheeto praises and shows loyalty to, has bought their way into his affections with very large untraceable campaign donations.

10. Trump's presidency is a mess.
Fri Jul 6, 2018, 11:25 AM

He is an impulsive, immature, tantrum-prone outsider, not a leader.

We know that he does not do much, real longterm thinking or planning because if he did, he would correct the problems, the misunderstandings and shortcomings, with those he appoints, with his staff, and they would not just either leave abruptly or get fired.

Who knows? Maybe he could even appoint more competent people if he weren't so impulsive. Thanks to his failed personality, his White House lacks continuity in terms of staff and policy.

His speeches are self-indulgent to a point that it is already a tiresome joke. He doesn't really have anything to say in terms of positive policy. It's his jibes and insults that get all the attention and may even be most of what he says. He can't seem to keep staff long enough to really implement any random good idea that might just fall into his brain or appeal to him at some unpredictable time.

He can whip up a crowd if made up of "his kind" of people, but really he would be better as a warm-up act than as the main show because when it comes down to working for the American people, he does more to separate us than to bring us together, more to fragment and therefore weaken us than to unite and strengthen us as a nation. Remember: Divided we fall, united we stand. Trump seems to think it works the other way.

His presidency is a mess.

The good news is that so far his blunders and mishaps have not caused any major incidents. I suspect that most of the world is just laughing at our plight. Because of our system and the political power of the frustrated, rural minority in our country that elected Trump, we are stuck with him.

The next two years look pretty dismal in my view. Sorry to be so depressing.

We have to win this Fall. That needs to be our one and only focus. Winning as much as we can in the House and Senate.

It is up to us to leave the bickering behind, focus on uniting at least ourselves and win, win, win this Fall. Anybody with me?

The decades-long record of Trump's public utterances is steeped in grievances. His entire campaign for the presidency was a lashing out at everyone who disdained him or threatened to expose his fraudulent image. His every documented act amounts to the settling of some old score or another. He is always angry about not getting his way.

Why the fuck is Haberman acting surprised in the year 2018?

Endless clips of dRump spouting something like this:

But every now and then (like 3-4 times a day) something irritates the living sh*t out of him. He has to vent his anger and frustrations or he blows up. That's Why his face is so bloated and red — he is about to blow like Vesuvius. So his staff has learned it is best to just let him rant. And create opportunities for him to do his thing. Hence, the need for rallies that are like mother’s milk to Baby tRump.

The thing he does at most rallies will wear thin eventually. There will be a core (a hard core like the center of a boil) that will go to the mat for him. But the rest will drift away. May that happen sooner, rather than later.
