So I have been writing letters for DEMs since 2009...I have quite a reputation in our town. The Rs of course hate me. I am published monthly in our Gazette and I write for other papers..there is a guy, and I am sure it is a man, who sends me hatriot mail on a regular basis..I got a new one yesterday...I take them to the police and so far...nothing as far as apprehending him...Once I even addressed him IN a letter telling him that his missives go directly to the DA...didn't deter him..

3. I'm sure you're keeping track of these emails but

if you have an IT friend maybe you can track down the computer or computers he sends these from. Especially if he sends them to you on your work computer.

There might be a federal crime about sending hate mail.

He's clearly not on the proper GOP big Ag mailing lists. Otherwise, he would know that Bayer (Monsanto was acquired) says it is perfectly safe to drink Roundup. Though their PR guy wouldn't do it when challenged.

You should publish periodically this idiot's letters, so others can see what 'nice' correspondence that you are getting. But, post also those favorable to your write-ups . You don't of course have to post 100% of the letters but a snapshot of each that basically shows the tone of each one. I think most reasonable people will lean towards the even handed and fair minded writer vs. the gutter snipe that he's representing.

Remember, he's the 1% of the trash that the pickers, when they used to pick through our trash STILL throw away.

I think that you might have from the write up I've read, but not sure.

Or, totally ignore him. Totally. Seems to get some satisfaction in getting some kind of a rise out of you, and if you ignore him. But keep an eye out, you did notify the authorities of this person, and hopefully, this will be just an idiot w/ a pen and no more.

Email....his postal letters to me are anonymous, he steals a DEM identity..paper isn't gonna print letter w/o info on the author.

One time I did include a "letter", this was also anonymous, but a different person...I cannot afford to waste my good letters doing his bidding, tho..Gazette only allows me one letter a month and 500 words....

But I get it. Once I submitted a letter to my editor criticizing bush and I got harassed for about two weeks. I can not imagine ever submitting a letter again. You have tremendous courage and my respect for your bravery.

do you know how many hands handle an envelope? they could not help, so that is when I went to the DA...nobody can prosecute an anonymous person...unless we can discover his identity it goes on....
