I have been sickened by the display of hand wringing over these poor Thai kids.... when NOTHING is being done for the brown children being torn from their families right here in the USA.

Of course, I rejoice that these Thai boys and their coach have been rescued with no expense spared, but where is the concern and compassion for the children languishing in detention centers? Perhaps we should throw them all down a well? I mean the compassion disconnect is withering.

It reminds me of the despair over lost fetuses... when NOTHING is done to help the plight of struggling mothers after the forced births have been accomplished.

Seems we only really care about children,(especially brown ones), when they are somewhere else... in the abstract.
