6. Not exactly. He pardoned 2 ranchers convicted of arson. The sentence was mandatory minimum.

The sentencing judge agreed the sentence was way excessive for what they actually did and imposed a substantially shorter sentence than the mandatory 5 years. The Feds appealed, won, and the Hammonds were re-sentenced to the 5 year prison term. The Bundys et al. cited this injustice as a basis for the take-over. The Hammonds (from prison) said the Bundy crowd should go back off and go home.
