These old white guys keep thinking they're playing "gotcha!" but just can't quite "get" Strzok. They have no clue how idiotic they appear, but it seems pretty obvious to observers they aren't clever at all and only seem desperate. Nothing like a bunch of politically biased old men "investigating" someone accused of being politically biased in his investigation. Pathetic. Fucking losers. Sad.
I'm pretty proud of the Dems though.

(16,829 posts)I used to go to Tammy's fundraisers, but since she and Kirsten threw Al Franken under the bus I'm taking a pass. He supported her, and she didn't hesitate to give back his "dirty" money.

(7,947 posts)Their colleagues and bosses not just criticized, but demonized as traitorous-- and even fired (right before pension!).
And by unfit lickspittles who have no real motive beyond protecting Trump from the consequences of his conspiracy.
Does the rank-and-file FBI guy look at this display and think, heck yeah! We should all be hauled before Congress and grilled for a day about some minor thing after we have risked our lives for decades.

(51,627 posts)on MSNBC today and they asked him that question. He said there are soooo many different cases and assignments that thousands of agents are working on that don't have the time or energy to care about such silly and ridiculous allegations made at the expense of their agency. They are busy doing their jobs as professionals. He also said that the FBI recovered fairly quickly from similar attacks to their credibility in the 70s when Hoover's dirty, personal attacks on civilians was made public

(15,328 posts)I have some good friends that have been fairly high up in various branches of the US gov't in the roles of security/law enforcement, etc. Most are just conscientious employees who believe in the rule of law and are above the political influences of this or the next or prior administrations.
How a person (gov't employee or otherwise) votes is not known or recorded and shouldn't be. Your assumption of guilt is strange.

(10,497 posts)There was one exchange about the N.Y. FBI office was staffed largely with rabid Republicans and no one disagreed.
I have done pro bono work for LE for years. I was the only open Democrat at their convention every year. I would have 3-4 officers privately admit they voted for Democrats but could not admit it publicly for fear of their job and co-worker relations.
I am sure if you checked me on this issue you would find a consensus that law enforcement, including the FBI, are largely Republicans.
Anyone else question my assertion that the FBI is largely Republican?

(51,627 posts)I was listening to the TV and every time I looked at the screen to see which GOP rep was being an incredible ass it 100% turned out to be a white man...NO WOMEN OR MINORITIES! That shows you who their base is...subservient women and racist, misogynistic men

(126 posts)Handel is just now speaking. Up until now zero women - zero minorities. Maybe I should have avoided the word "old" but oh well.
BigmanPigman
(51,627 posts)also refers to the GOP as "angry, old white men" so if he can say it, so can you! He also calls them "greedy hypocrites" which definately is 100% true!
Sounds just like my father!

(4,516 posts)Because they are white you think it isn't racism. It is. Sure the DU group think rules say you can't be racist toward white people because of privilege and power but that is DU talking not reality.
I'm ready for the group think folks to respond.
