Guess he just likes the look.

(68,449 posts)minimizes that unfortunate shape, but he can't. Also, his hair is thin and fine, so he can't do much with it anyway.

(36,975 posts)If his hair were even a little fuller on the sides he would not look so weird.

(68,449 posts)so he ended up looking even more ridiculous, with sticky looking product and his scalp showing through:

But maybe his hair is too thin on the sides for this one now.

(36,975 posts)I agree that one is an improvement.
tblue37
(68,449 posts)as though he is going bald and combing over, even though he isn't. The Caesar cut maximized the appearance of side volume, so he should have stuck with it, except that his hair might be thinning enough to make that style no longer possible.

(7,604 posts)It's as irritating as all get-out for poor Trey, and causes him to go on irrational forays into imaginary lands at the drop of a... well... hat. Trey would really enhance his looks were he to wear a top hat, but he'd have to forego the leaf shine that he spreads all over his face and scalp for very public appearances. Otherwise the hat would slide off the steep angles of his noggin.
Gowdy's only other option is to remove the gerbil and go full shaved-head bald. That way, he can blind audiences with reflected light from his chrome dome, given his already known propensity to apply Leaf Shine. It would cause a marvelous distraction for the press that would then begin characterizing Gowdy's quotes as "illuminating" and "bright". Everyone wins!

(6,131 posts)it is really hard to see that and not focus on that. Like when someone has spinach stuck in their teeth. If you have any manners you know it is impolite to stare and most of us would just keep it to ourselves. So with Gowdy, it is a struggle between good manners and a funny looking head that is just begging for a snarky comment. (Given who is sporting that unfortunate hair-do.)
From that poster with all the examples of hair-dos and hair-donts he has tried, the guy has been on a quest for a better DO for a long time. Imagine when this guy was in school with that greasy face and unfortunate hair? No wonder he has such a sour disposition. Probably got hounded all day.
