No one knows what is going on behind the scenes. All the hard work done quietly that doesn't get the air time. Chuck and Nancy do their jobs. I see no need to scream in front of the camera for a 'look at me moment' that frankly does not seal the deal because that happens quietly. If you only react to the loudest person in the room then you will miss what is really happening behind the scenes.. and who is actually doing it.
Due to their leadership, every Democrat in both chambers voted "yes" to Russia sanctions. There were even many who crossed the aisle to join Democrats on this measure.
I blame the Republican enablers who voted "no" for helping to lead the country down this path.
They need to apologize for that "no vote" on sanctions and take responsibility for the damage they have done. It was a stunning lapse in judgement.
