The cover-up is always worse than the original crime

As bad as Trump's Treason Summit was, his cover-up today did *NOT* make it any better. Made it worse, because it was such obvious *not* face-saving bullshit. There's supposed to a rule about when in a hole, stop digging. The only thing that Traitor Trump accomplished today is to open the door to having even more ridicule dumped on his head. Late night comedians will have a field day with this tonight.

I want to know specifically who in the WH had the brilliant idea to claim that Traitor Trump left out a "not" in his original treasonous statement. That stupidity deserves at least a footnote in the history of the Trump era.

2. CNN said that the response in other countries is the same as here.

No one is buying this crap. It is beneath everyone's intelligence and is almost too ridiculous to believe. Tillerson was right...he IS a fucking moron!

3. I actually feel sorry for him, because he's such a stupid dolt

It would be a kindness to him (and us) to invoke the 25th amendment and remove him from office. He would be so much happier sitting at the bar at his golf club, telling his bullshit lies to the hired help, who are paid to smile and agree. But alas, this sick tedious comedy will play out. I take comfort in knowing that everyday brings us closer to the Nov elections.

4. Yes, it made it worse...ok, an old example.

Nixon would have survived if he took all the blame for the break in immediately. " Yes, it was my committee to re-elect, and I didn't know, but I take total responsibility for the break in. Ultimately, I am responsible because I am in charge." Yes, that would have been bad, but it probably would have blown over.

But he didn't do that. It was one lie, on top of another lie, on top of another lie..etc. The lies piles up, and toward the end, he said those famous words, "I am not a crook"

But he was a crook and will always be known as a crook. So, Trump tried to cover it up, " I misspoke"
He did not misspeak. We all know it. Why? Because if there was a mistake, he would have corrected it immediately. Wouldn't you correct a mistake of that magnitude?. I sure would have.

5. But didn't he defend his original statement after he said it?

I thought he went on and on. So this rehab is childish bs.
