I have a theory of what is on the "tape", and it's not two women urinating...

You know, that would be no big deal: people watch stuff like that nightly on Youporn and Pornhub and all those other sites like www.perfectgirls.net, not that I would have ever heard of these sites, but that's what I've heard...

No...I got to thinking: it has to be something so surreal, so shocking, so awful AND ILLEGAL that there is no backtracking or explanation which will suffice...

And then I got to thinking about fiction...which is often not as strange as fact and I thus combined several elements to create the ultimate set piece, if I were writing a tawdry novel of international espionage.

1. In The Godfather Part II, the Senator is set up with a prostitute who is murdered by a third party after the Senator passes out from an administration of a drug. He awakens to find her dead and 'coincidentally' Tom Hagan, the Consigliere, sets all aright and the Senator, once a sworn enemy, is owned by the Mob. Murder is a capital crime and has no statute of limitations and thus the revelation of the video could be made in perpetuity without any loss of ability to prosecute. Oh yes: and the victim and her DNA and the perpetrator's are preserved in a strict chain of evidence

2. The unforgivable sin of obsessive pedophilia as exemplified by Nabokov's Lolita. And this guy is no James Mason....

3. From Russia With Love, where the protagonist (Bond) is lured to a hotel room with the promise of a code machine for England if he takes the gorgeous Russian woman with him: he is filmed having sex with her through a two-way mirror.



And so if you combine the three, you have a dead, underage girl with virtually incontrovertible video and audio footage. If you add that to the economic threat of family ruination and thus BRAND RUINATION, these are very powerful weapons indeed.

As a post script, if you go back and READ From Russia With Love, you will see that absolutely nothing has changed, including intricate plans to obtain kompromat, use of sex, use of poisons as exemplified by Rosa Klebb's poison blade concealed in her shoe, assassins on foreign soil, and all the rest. One thing the Russians are is ingenious...do not think lightly of their brilliance.
