And Enough of THIS Bullshit

I’m tired of Trump-humpers saying that Spanky’s animus towards the Mueller probe is simply due to his fear that his election will be seen as an “illegitimate”.

Bullshit. He’s afraid of being proven to have colluded with our nation’s enemies in order to become president.

Were Trump completely innocent of that collusion, he would not fear any inquiry into the 2016 election. On the contrary, his attitude would be “look all you want, you won’t find anything that involves me”. And then he would have played the “fully vindicated” card for all it was worth, along with having an “I was innocent and they falsely accused me” cudgel to beat his political opponents with again and again.

He knows that if he had no involvement in being elected due to the machinations of a foreign power, his presidency would not be “de-legitimized” or somehow overturned – the key words being if he had no involvement.

He also knows that his fanatical base won’t see him as “illegitimate” no matter what Mueller’s final report concludes. The only people who will call him illegitimate are the people who already DO – and since when is Trump concerned about what they think anyway?

This whole “he’s just afraid of being seen as illegitimate” excuse for so desperately wanting Mueller to be shut down is right up there with “I meant to say wouldn’t”, or explaining Kelly looking like he hoped the floor would open and swallow him as being pissed-off about the breakfast service.

An innocent man acts many different ways when he knows he’s been falsely accused. A guilty man acts in only one way: he lashes out at anyone who questions his innocence, he tries to undermine any person or organization (e.g. the “fake news”, the corrupt and biased FBI) that make inquiries about his statements and actions, and he maintains that anyone looking into his activities is motivated solely by political opposition and has nothing to do with facts.

Trump acts like a guilty man because he IS a guilty man. He’s not afraid of being seen as illegitimate – he’s afraid of being proven a traitor beyond any reasonable doubt.

It really is as simple as that – and it’s only the simple-minded who believe otherwise.

That he is GUILTY AND he is afraid of the question of his presidency's legitimacy. note it's been reported many times that anytime anyone broached the subject of it irks him badly. At this juncture we all know he's illegitimate and because of that he's also afraid of losing his grip on power and being prosecuted as a traitor.

... but I've heard too many Trump-humpers insist that being "seen as illegitimate" is the ONLY reason he is lashing-out at Mueller et al.

I'm sure his fanatical base never questions why their "strong fearless Leader", the self-proclaimed "best negotiator in the world", the "stable genius" who is always "smarter than anyone in the room" is terrified of meeting with Mueller.

It's written all over his face. It's in his body language, how he acts, what he says. He's guilty as f*ck. He's a traitor and so are any who aid and abet him.

Russia hacked into our election system and rigged it.
They have something on him or want something from him - probably lots of lots o' money.

IQ45 is a criminal. He should be indicted, locked up and the key thrown away.
Every single GOP in Congress needs to be removed as well.

All of the appointments since Jan 2017 should be reversed.

A new election. Period.

which is why Ryan has jumped ship and announced he's not running for re-election again in Nov. with any luck he'll be charged with complicity by Mueller. It is clear as day now to the whole world the man is an incompetent puppet of putin, and he was colluding in plain sight under the guise of a summit. As i read in an article, it was a meeting of 2 mob dons.

16. I'm also tired of people asking why he can't separate issues of meddling and collusion
Wed Jul 18, 2018, 06:10 AM
Jul 2018

Several of the pundits keep acting puzzled that he can't just acknowledge the Russian criminal activities since collusion is a separate issue. They don't seem to realize that accepting Mueller's conclusions about Russian criminal interference undercuts Trump's claim that the probe is a partisan witchhunt that should be shut down. Quite obvious that Mueller's findings of Russian criminality is threatening to him because he and his entourage were encouraging and supporting the Russian activities and Mueller is closing in on them.

Trump is laundering money for Russian oligarchs , for starters . He actually got caught laundering money through Trump Soho and got fined by the Treasury Dept for not following money-laundering regs at his casinos. Who knows what else the Russians have on Trump?

The Republicans know this. They're just covering for him. It's the mid-terms and winning's more important than kicking a Russian asset out of the Presidency.

18. Nance, I believe he also has animus towards the Mueller probe because....
Wed Jul 18, 2018, 06:12 AM
Jul 2018

he has a morbid fear his little fake real estate empire will be brought down as the trials will almost certainly reveal his corrupt business practices (hopefully as his tax returns and banking records are exposed). That would just as much make him look like a loser to his voter base and family, and would destroy him personally.

Psychopathic narcissists simply cannot deal with losing.

If we had started to fight back with Obama still in office, we could have actually made headway. Now it’s an incredibly uphill battle that will take generations to recover from.

That's why he denied the ongoing attacks by Russia today.
