I thought Andrea Mitchell was too soft by allowing Dan Coats to avoid answering some of the questions.

Apparently, he pissed off Trump anyway.

Dan Coats must have given too many honest answers!

there are still a few honest republicans who put country before protecting the asshole president. Congress full of protectionisms who put the lying president before the country and may they all go down in flames during the midterms.

12. Coats has been extremely mild in his criticism, if you can even call it criticism.

He even said it's the president's prerogative to have a private meeting with Putin, which is debatable. At least when it comes to phone conversations, federal records law forbids private conversations.

Coats has been asked direct questions and has answered with little more than statements such as, "I might have done things differently."

But even that, no doubt, has Trump furious.

It would be a few more significant inches added to the proverbial rope.

Then again, I also like the idea of the few people that knows their asses from a hole in the ground sticking around.
