Trump thanks Finland for support on NATO, but Finland is not in NATO

According to reporters, Trump thanked the Finnish president for his support and said the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has never been stronger.
“I enjoyed being with you a couple of days ago. NATO has, I think, never been stronger. It was a little bit tough at the beginning, but it turned out to be love. I appreciated your support,” Trump said in his opening remarks.
Finland, however, is not in NATO.

He just opens his mouth and says words. Bigly words. The best words. The MOST words. 
Last I knew, he hadn't gotten around to appointing a great many ambassadors. And I wouldn't be surprised if he chose Frederick Douglass. 
and cabinet members have for international travel. Half-assed ambassadors.
Trump seems to have it all worked out. 
Despite having caused yet another huge controversy. Are the taxpayers paying off the airports in New Jersey for lost revenue too, or was that just Florida?
