(5,873 posts)9. Oh, my goodness. Such sadness from an outing that was supposed to be fun.
I took all three of my grandchildren (at separate times) on the DC Ducks on the Potomac. We laughed at the quackers and just had so much fun. Splashing off the road into the river was so cool and unexpected. I can only imagine the horror they felt when things went wrong. My heart goes out to all of the victims and their surviving family members.

how you recover enough to go on with your life after such a tragedy I can't imagine.

There on Table Rock Lake. Around the Branson Belle (where it turned over) is where they allowed the kids to drive.
I sincerely hope that the kids werent driving the Duck when it flipped.
Such a tragedy.
