9. Reading his books

Halfway through hacking of Democracy. I’m in the middle of a 2 week visit to Latvia. Sharing the books with my father-in-law who summers there (Latvian -American) who lived through WWII and both Nazi and Russian occupations as a teenager. He was lucky his family made it to the IS after the war. Most of his cousins stayed behind in Latvia. My FIL is very pessimistic about the future of A Trumputinistic US and world😱. We see my wife’s cousins quite frequently now that Latvia is free. Lots of concern amongst them although for now they go about their lives and follow the news in horror.
Anyway, I’m making my list of family and friends to order the Plot to Hack/Destroy Democracy. Thanks for the link.
In Latvia there is a famous National saying: “Bez Cinas Nav Uzvaras” translates to: “Without a fight, there is no Victory “. I am wearing a T-shirt with the saying proudly and receiving praise from all my wife’s cousins.

as bedtime reading. It didn't work out well.
