We need a female leader to get us out of this mess.

(17,286 posts)to the understanding that an intelligent woman president is what the world needs.
However, that won't be the end of it. They stonewalled President Obama, and they will try to stonewall the Democratic President in 2020. Until both houses are flipped, the same will happen.
Mueller needs to euthanize some of the heinous republican congresspeople so the next iteration does not have to spend any time on endless hearings and can concentrate on getting some stuff done. I know this may be a fantasy, but that is how I see it in a perfect world.

(56,827 posts)I haven't seen any indication she will run outside of RW fundraising emails claiming she will. If Trump is still president in 2020, I think we'd need somebody charismatic enough on our side to get the media attention away from Trump some of the time. As good as she was in terms of intelligence and experience, Hillary Clinton did not get media attention that wasn't driven by Trump and Russia (DNC emails, Clinton Foundation, Uranium One, etc)
I like Harris and Warren, but also like Booker, Biden, Merkley, and several others as well.
All of them are far better than Trump or anybody else on the Republican side.
