Trump calls for "unity" during his deal-making, says "be cool, the end result will be worth it!"

When you have people snipping at your heels during a negotiation, it will only take longer to make a deal, and the deal will never be as good as it could have been with unity. Negotiations are going really well, be cool. The end result will be worth it!

Every time I see a weak politician asking to stop Trade talks or the use of Tariffs to counter unfair Tariffs, I wonder, what can they be thinking? Are we just going to continue and let our farmers and country get ripped off? Lost $817 Billion on Trade last year. No weakness!

8. I don't know - he really does want unity; he would like it to be a fascist style unity

He’s very divisive. He wants the white people to hate all nonwhites, his idiot supporters to hate liberals etc.

11. Yep - that's just another step to the unity he envisions

See you don't have to worry about unifying with nonwhites if they don't count as people. Liberals probably don't count as people either - definitely not as a citizen. If you basically only have white people who agree with Trust as citizens, than you can have perfect unity!

Or how about the one he backed out of with Iran where they get all their money back and we get zilch? Trump is probably the worst deal maker on the planet. He'll just keep his base happy by forking over taxpayer dollars to them as subsidies until we're bankrupt.

4. See, our farmers are no longer being cheated out of their soybeans.

Under a Trump deal, they get to keep them. When you get to hold onto your family soybeans forever, what could be bad?

Your tariffs are a disaster and hurt the country. Now your bailing out the farmers you hurt with billions of our dollars. If that was your plan all along, then you're an even bigger idiot than everyone thinks.

12. At least there is nothing similar to 47 Republican Senators writing Iran that Obama can not

make a deal with them. There is no Democratic effort to invite a foreign leader 100% against a Trump foreign policy goal to address Congress. That is the background that President Obama and Secretary Kerry faced in 2015 -- as they worked hard with the other countries in the P5+1 to create the strongest nuclear deal that ever existed. Secretary Moniz was and is uniquely qualified to lead the desin of the inspections -- yet, with no facts, Trump and the RW have said they are weak. Yet, there are NO inspections at all in the "denuclearization of NK -- there is not even an agreed upon definition of "denuclearization"!

The fact is there has been NO international agreement, not unilateral or multilateral, that the Trump administartion has actually succeeded in getting. That, I suspect is the reason for this tweet. In his mind, the reason he is failing is that he is being criticized.

Note also that he lies on the position of those he attacks. The people criticizing him on trade policy are the mostly Republican free trade proponents. They are not calling for the end of trade talks - they don't like the specific unilateral actions Trump has taken.
