Some of his followers will leave Trump because he is just too much. Yes, some have seen the light, and we have read about some followers who have left Trump right here at Democratic Underground. Kudos to those who have seen the light.
...But the deep down Trumpers will never leave him. Why?.. They have the "hate" of Trump.
The deep down Trumpers, those that will follow him forever, are like the true followers of Hitler and every other dictator that has ever lived or will live. The follower's "hate" is Trump's "hate." It is one of the same. It is deep down and that "hate" reflects upon the believer far more than it reflects on anyone else. If Trump resigned today, those followers would still hate. They really don't understand their own hate, and they don't want to understand it.
Hate, hate and more hate, That is who they are, and that is who they will always be.

Trump himself doesn't care, and he doesn't know. All his life, the lawyers have fixed things up for him. Therefore, it was "taken care of."
Has he ever stood up and said, "I lied" or "I made a mistake, and " I am responsible", and "I was wrong?." He never does that, because he is not honest, and he has never been honest. He is a lying asshole. A mean and vicious lying asshole!

... What word is appropriate for a president who always lies and hates like Trump. I don't know.

(58,724 posts)Just saying that there is much hatred directed against Trump (as there was against Bush Jr.) - and justifiably so!
Edit to add: I'm old enough to have even attended a protest against Bush Sr. with regard to Iraq War I.

That makes him special, different and real. Not afraid to say what he thinks. That is what they admire most.

(42,023 posts)We simply have to out vote them. Let them go back to their bars and breakfast buffets and loungers. Theyve been here forever and will be here forever. And its up to us to take any vestige of power from them because theyre not capable of understanding, let alone wielding, it.

(38,486 posts)It is the exact opposite of what true caring about others means. Basically evangelicals say, if I am correct, you follow my God, or you will burn in hell. "I know God and you know nothing, you must follow me"
That viewpoint is "hate." ...
What about other religions?...."I know God, and they know nothing." "We know the only truth."
It is the same as Trump. "I know the only truth, everyone else is wrong." His tweets show that.."I am always right, and you are always wrong." That is the tone of who he is and what he says.
proof: The caging of children of immigrants. What did Trump say?
...I don't have the exact words, but something close to...You had better come to this country legally or you will face the consequences. (something like that..your fault, you are bad)
Someone reading this knows the quote. As mean and vicious as possible. Totally rejects the desire to be in the U.S.A. and the difficulties in gaining entry. Totally rejects one's love for their children, and desire to give them a better life. He attacks, and feels no remorse for any of the pain and suffering that he caused. Always attack and blame.
