9. There's a GOP candidate in my town just like her.

She was all scare-doggy in 2016 about "Electro-Magnetic Pulse" and how it would kill us all. (And of course it was Obama's fault.) I don't know what it had to do with the GOP, except it could be used to scare people. (Ironic that at that very moment, the US actually was under cyber-attack by Trump and his buddy.)

Anyway, the local women's group always needs speakers, and because she'd been a city official, and she had this brochure, they asked her to come talk about this. She was terrible. She had about 5 minutes worth of "information," and that was it, and knew nothing about electronics. And one woman was an engineer and was polite but asked a few questions that went beyond what the GOPer had read on Infowars.

It was embarrassing. Members of the club are still calling it the worst presentation we ever had.

But she did seem to think she could get by just on talking fast and loud and using scary words.

11. Of all the weird things

I just ran out to pick up something at the store. On the way home the Reverend she was debating crossed my mind. I was thinking that I haven't seen him on tv in some time. When I got home I turned on the tv and there they were talking over each other like mad.

So now I'll watch my recording and know to fast forward the segment. I really like him, though. Sounds like she doesn't know how to conduct herself and respectfully disagree without going all sideways.
