...when religions exist that denigrate critical thinking and tolerance and insist on setting boundaries on what questions may be asked and what issues may be explored, conflict is inevitable.

3. What I always ask my fundy sibs - how do they know Mr. God hasn't designed using evolution as

his method of creating??? These 2 things are not mutually exclusive. When you look at the amazing variety of life forms and how each has evolved to fit a particular niche - its just breathtakingly beautiful and brilliant how it all happens over eons of time - and IMHO much more awesome (in the original sense of the word ) than the idea of some old guy with a beard waving a magic wand to create new stuff.
