From Facebook

I saw this morning another "collusion is not a crime" post. This is horseshit quoted nearly verbatim from Rudy Guliani who said "I read the statute books and no where was the term collusion" which sounds really convincing, right? Then I heard this quote which makes Rudy's little trick of semantics clear-"I read through the statute books and nowhere in there was the term "bank heist" so I guess bank robbery is legal!"...The chargeable term is conspiracy which is in the statute books and is a synonym for collusion.

At this point, the question of the legality isn't about the coordination, but the lying about it and we KNOW they did lie.

This is no different than the impeachment of Clinton over the consensual affair (not illegal) that led to accusation of lying under oath and misleading investigators.

Trying to put a fine point on whether the "collusion" was legal or illegal, misses the bigger picture that obstruction appears to have taken place. That's illegal no matter what the starting point.

isn't in the statutes either, but it probably won't get you out of a speeding ticket. Unless the cop has a very good sense of humor and is paying attention.

"We should look forward, not backward" never did work to get me out of any tickets.
