How are y'all liking the fifty state strategy?

Gets a little bumpy at times, doesn’t it? A lot more difficult than watching a singular candidate like Obama campaigning on the national level.

This is my takeaway this Friday evening.

Across the board, great job Democrats. From local and national elements that are more established to all of the new faces and groups we are seeing. Much of the inside fighting we are seeing and often taking part in involves very few individuals or organizations. So many other established and new groups and people are just grinding for wins.

There are a lot of Democrats like myself out there who were getting really sick of watching our party and so much of the power it can wield being used mainly at the national level. We have died in municipalities and states across the country.

I’m truly excited to see what’s going on today. Systems and tools in place and being improved upon to help local campaigns get off the ground. Democratic candidates running in districts where we haven’t been seen in some time. Money flowing down.

The anti-Trump/Republican swing is real. We are seeing more than that. We are seeing a different strategy and it’s directed at building a stronger foundation.

Happy Friday!

...who coined the term.

And kudos to Tom Perez, who gives Dean credit while doing a fine job executing the strategy. Lord knows if things were going badly, we'd be blaming Tom for the losses.

The DNC. They are being a much more supportive organization. Even groups like the NDRC. Local local local.
