I was thinking about it when Dolt refused to say Senator John McCain's name while signing a bill named for the senator.
During the parade the different branches of the military, especially the Navy should carry tributes - banners, photos, whatever is allowed under military code - honoring Senator McCain and his service to the US.
While I do not agree with most of McCain's politics, I never doubted that he is loyal to the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution and to defend this country. Dolt45's pettiness in refusing to even say his name pisses me off and should piss off every person in this country especially our military.
It would be wonderful if Dolt's wet dream of a military parade shoves this petty act back in his face!

President Trump's military parade has been approved at a cost of $30 million. Between 5,000 to 7,000 service members could march in President Donald Trump's military parade, according to a U.S. defense official familiar with parade planning documents. The figures are according to a presentation briefed to local Department of Defense leadership earlier this month on the progress of the planning, said the official who was not present for that briefing.
ABC News has not viewed a copy of the plan.
About 50 DoD personnel in the DC area are now supporting the planning of the parade, scheduled for Saturday, November 10. That number is expected to grow to 100 by the Labor Day holiday, and then to about 3,000 the week of the parade, the official said.

(1,533 posts)If for no other reason that his ass is so sore from the kicking it took the week before.
Someone should put up a digital sign board tallying the cost of the parade as each unit passes. Lets see the Trumpers cheer as their tax dollars are flushed down the crapper.

(34,131 posts)I doubt he could stand long enough for one unit to march by! (I shouldn't make fun - these days I couldn't stand very long. Hopefully they will be able to fuse my back soon so that pain will go away.)

Although it wouldn't shock me if some current active-duty military or retired veterans are thinking along the same lines.

(1,375 posts)as long as the Secret Service don't think that they are a threat. But members of the military, not so much, remember that we don't have the same rights that you have while we are serving, especially if we are in uniform. Try not standing or taking a knee during the national anthem while in uniform and see how that works out for you.

(10,885 posts)is the funding for tRaitor's majestic parade, adding yet another insult to the senator for whom it is named.

Note my bolding regarding the purpose of the parade, when, in fact, a lesser document might call it for what it is...an expensive over-blown tongue licking in honor of a five deferment narcissistic coward, too lazy to walk a golf course never mind a military field.
To honor and celebrate 100 years of patriotic sacrifice for our men and women in uniform, the legislation authorizes a parade in the nations capital and a national celebration. The legislation prohibits the use of operational units or equipment in the Secretary of Defense believes such use will hamper readiness.
