Mills County Deputies Raffle AR-15

Mills County Deputies England and Mather are offering raffle tickets at $50.00 a piece in order to raise money for a K-9 unit in Mills County Iowa. Tickets were offered at a table at the weekly Farmers Markets on Wednesday.

It's a bolt action rifle. I don't have problems with bolt action rifles since they are very slow to reload and are therefore less of a threat to the public. This particular rifle is a .50 cal weapon, which means it is also extremely heavy and cumbersome. Semi-automatic weapons are the real threat to the public.
