6. I don't believe that at all. We'll be amazed at

how fast we rebuild and also the gains that come from reaction to intense corruption and new awareness and repair of weaknesses. There are such things as institutional and cultural memory, and the same moral and ethical concepts and wisdom that created our mores in the first place will still exist. Not in everyone, of course, but they never did in everyone.

My fear is that we do not take over. The forces determined to stop that are not constrained by any old fashioned notions of morality or responsibility to our nation. They're viciously ruthless and determined to win.
