He handed a Republican Sam Nunberg his ass on AM Joy today. Nunberg was trying to monopolize the conversation with his usual BS and Al put him in his place with intelligence and style. I had to laugh. He literally schooled Nunberg. Amazing. I haven't watched Al very much before, but you can believe I will definitely watch him in the future.

So if you read what I actually wrote, I think that I warned those who think that an AA drawl makes someone a dummie is very mistaken, because Rev Al is no one's fool. I wish a lot of others would speak as deliberately as he does. He's easy to follow, unlike a lot of politicians and pundits/surrogates who are trying to blurt their shit out so fast that there's no time to challenge what they say or even get your thoughts around their last sentence before the next one comes out, which is particularly a tactic that Republicans and their surrogates use to spew their garbage talking points. Sharpton wants people to hear what he says and engage him in debate, slowly, so he can control and dismantle their argument effectively so we get the impression he just wiped the floor with them. He's unafraid of being challenged himself. In that sense I think he's a terrific speaker.

20. Excellent refutations by Sharpton. Sadly, Ari Melber had epic fail interviewing Bannon Friday.

Melber was overly respectful and let Bannon get away with spewing a plethora of significant lies. What a highly successful propaganda opportunity Bannon has been gifted by Melber. I rarely miss Melber's cogent commentary, so this interview was a deep disappointment.
