CaseLabs
We are very sad to announce that CaseLabs and its parent company will be closing permanently. We have been forced into bankruptcy and liquidation. The tariffs have played a major role raising prices by almost 80% (partly due to associated shortages), which cut deeply into our margins. The default of a large account added greatly to the problem. It hit us at the worst possible time. We reached out for a possible deal that would allow us to continue on and persevere through these difficult times, but in the end, it didnt happen.
We are doing our best to ship as many orders as we can, but we wont be able to ship them all. Parts orders should all ship, but we wont be able to fulfill the full backlog of case orders. We are so incredibly sorry this is happening. Our user community has been very devoted to us and its awful to think that we have let any of you down. There are over 20,000 of you out there and we are very grateful for all the support we have received over the years. It was a great journey that we took together and were thankful that we got that chance.
We understand that there will likely be a great deal of understandable anger over this and we sincerely apologize. We looked at every option we had. This is certainly not what we envisioned. Some things were just out of our control. We thought we had a way to move forward, but it failed and we disabled the website from taking any more orders.
It was a privilege to serve you and we are so very sorry things turned out this way.

(63,221 posts)The Smoot-Hawley tariff act exacerbated the Great Depression. Trump is an idiot to think that other countries won't retaliate in kind and we the consumers, the workers and the business owners are going to suffer for it. The man has no understanding of economics or global policy. He is a complete disaster in every way.

(34,661 posts)learn about Smoot and Hawley and how they crashed out Nation in order to satisfy their personal agendas. We are at that point with the new Tax give away as well as eliminating Social Programs.
Every Economic destruction tool is in place. Just a matter of months and there she blows. Look no further than Iowa,Minnesota, and South Dakota Cash Croppers. Talk about a group of nervous people. BTW,it is showing up on their Main Streets.

(63,221 posts)He is an ignorant, uneducated moron who has no desire to learn about how these things affect the economy in the long run. I just hope and pray that he is out of office soon.

(34,661 posts)it has already started. Yes,there are many who think it is a Boom Time, but, those who are not on the Boom Train are pulling in their purchases. The thing to watch is the Farm Auction numbers, not good, lots of stressed out operations. And with Crop yields all over the board, plus the tens of thousands of acres of corn and beans that have been hailed out, going to get ugly real quick.

They will hurt me eventually because my clientele are all over the country. We will see how things work out.
