Wow-John Dean: "I still have trouble using the title Mr. President for someone installed by Putin"

@realDonaldTrump

The failing @nytimes wrote a Fake piece today implying that because White House Councel Don McGahn was giving hours of testimony to the Special Councel, he must be a John Dean type “RAT.” But I allowed him and all others to testify - I didn’t have to. I have nothing to hide......

@JohnWDean
@realDonaldTrump (I still have trouble using the title Mr. President for someone installed by Putin), I doubt you have ANY IDEA what McGahn has told Mueller. Also, Nixon knew I was meeting with prosecutors, b/c I told him. However, he didn’t think I would tell them the truth!

Nor can I use the title for Donald Trump when he has NO RESPECT for the office he holds.

How telling is the use of the word rat in that tweet? You know who uses the term? Criminals. No non-mobbed up person has ever used the word rat to describe someone.

...Putin didn't do this without a lot of help from us.

For online electioneering to be effective, enough of us had to be easily manipulable. To prevent vote-flipping, we would have had to have paper ballots everywhere. To forestall fraudulent vote counts, Secretaries of State would have had to care about the election's integrity. To prevent or delay an Electoral college victory, enough electors would have had to be both nonpartisan and informed of rigging attempts.

To have had any of these people and things in place, our Congress and courts would have had to remain uncompromised for many years prior to the election.

Putin invested considerable time and resources into subverting the vote, but it was still a long shot, and was enabled by a cascade of failures by Americans who just didn't care sufficiently to secure 2016.

But he may have known a lot, or known at least that it was being taken care of.
