reputation at all, it's time to denounce Trump and all his bullshit. Same with the Republican's in Congress. I'll still take a white flag from friends and family that voted for him, but it better come quick. I can still see how a few felt that Trump might be the only one running that might do anything for them. They got burned, but I can see maybe just a glimmer of logic to it. They had better own up to making a big mistake soon though, much longer and they become like the Nazi collaborators. It's probably beyond that, but if they wise up, we could use their help fixing things.

That last sentence is exactly what Trump says and tweets all the time. Plus no indication of sarcasm or irony.

(or all my parents watched). As a child around the same age as Trump, I remember how bored I was with it. As a result, it was a solid memory from that time, even though I only understood the details many years later. I think most of my generation grew up aware of McCarthy and "McCarthyism." Now saying that Trump spent his teenage and adult years UNDERSTANDING it, is another story. In retrospect, I'b be surprised if his "knowledge" mainly came from "The Manchurian Candidate."

We don't know from context whether Brit thinks dumps words are ridiculous or the situation that dump is describing. He hasn't said much since he wrote this, but yesterday he tweeted about how "the case against John Brennan having a security clearance is a slam dunk". In context I don't think dump has lost Brit yet.
