How does "nightly news" cover this administration?

I cut the cord years ago, and I admit I live in an MSNBC streaming/podcast bubble. I'm wondering... How does the traditional half-hour nightly network news currently cover government and the administration's lying, obstruction, etc. Does one need to watch cable news to be fully informed?

I don't think you will hear "Trump lied today", like you occasionally will hear on cable now. The networks will usually, however, present facts that dispute what Trump says, similar to cable.

It's deserved, but I remember during previous administrations that MSNBC never went there... I wonder how kids in school today are taught about current events... That their president is lied "x" number of times yesterday?
